LEXIGRAM

Last summer, I worked at Lexigram, a healthcare artificial intelligence company, in Redwood City, CA. Lexigram brings structure to data in medicine - the software is able to process patient reports, data sets, etc. into normalized and contextual real-time data.

Below, is the progression of my work while at Lexigram: I started out created infographics, pitch decks and a one pager summarizing Lexigram's mission. From there, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, we undertook the task of rebranding Lexigram's image through their user interface and their website.

What we did with the user interface* was essentially allow the left-hand menu to occupy more of the workspace on the screen because this was the primary way the user was going to approve patient reports and note changes.

The next project I undertook was the redesign of their website. The initial website failed to effectively communicate what Lexigram and their purpose. The jargon on the website and the graphics created confusion as to whether or not the user understood what Lexigram really did. Following the same principles as the UI, the CMO and I wanted a simple website that was a) visually appealing and b) could be easily understood.
